In Southeast Asia, where temperatures are high and humidity often soars above 80%, ordinary sound-absorbing materials are highly susceptible to mold. This not only significantly reduces sound absorption but can also release harmful substances due to material damage, impacting indoor air quality and human health. Our company's mold-resistant acoustic panels, made from a specially formulated inorganic composite material, inhibit mold growth at the root. Tested by authoritative institutions and subjected to long-term testing in simulated Southeast Asia's extreme heat and humidity, they maintain excellent sound absorption performance and structural integrity, making them a reliable choice for creating a long-lasting acoustic space.
1. Panel Storage: Before installation, ensure that the panels are stored in a dry, ventilated, and well-sealed environment. It is recommended to unpack the panels before installation and allow them to acclimate to the surrounding humidity and temperature for at least 48 hours to ensure they are compatible with the installation environment and reduce the risk of deformation due to environmental fluctuations.
2.Installation Site Requirements: The installation surface must be dry and flat, and the temperature at the installation site should be stable and above 15°C. Post-installation ambient temperature fluctuations must be controlled within a relative humidity range of 40-60% to ensure the stability of the sound-absorbing panels.
1. Light Steel Balusters: If using light steel balusters, use specifications of 18x26x3000mm. Install them on the wall approximately 60cm apart, ensuring the balusters are vertical and flat to provide stable support for the sound-absorbing panels.
2. Wooden Balusters: Wooden balusters must be pre-treated for corrosion by soaking them in anti-corrosion paint or applying a uniform coat of paint. During installation, secure the top and bottom balusters with nails or expansion bolts, with spacing no greater than 600mm. Secure the vertical balusters to the top and bottom balusters, staggering the joints. Install the horizontal balusters according to design requirements, generally at spacings of 400-600mm. Apply fire-retardant paint after installation.
1. Adhesive Method: Apply an appropriate amount of glue (approximately 0.5-1 kg per square meter) evenly to the back of the sound-absorbing panel. Align the panel with the studs, pressing gently to ensure a tight connection. For polyester fiber sound-absorbing panels, apply the special glue directly to the studs or wall base, working from one end to the other to avoid hollowing.
2. Nail Method: Use self-tapping screws to secure the sound-absorbing panel to the studs. The screw spacing should not exceed 200 mm, and the screws should be screwed in approximately 2-3 mm deep, without protruding from the panel surface. For larger panels or areas susceptible to impact, additional fixing points may be used.
3. Joint Treatment: Leave a uniform gap of 3-5 mm between the panels. For locations with high acoustic requirements, sealant can be added to enhance sound absorption and improve aesthetics.
1. Regular Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the sound-absorbing panel with a clean, dry cloth periodically to remove dust and dirt. For fabric sound-absorbing panels, use a gentle vacuum cleaner to avoid damaging the fabric by pulling vigorously.
2. Moisture Inspection: Due to humid environments, frequently inspect the panels for signs of moisture. If condensation is detected, wipe it dry and ensure adequate ventilation. Regularly check the installation to ensure it is secure and free of looseness or deformation.
3. Special Case Handling: Minor damage to the panels, such as scratches on the metal surface, can be sanded and repainted. Damage to the internal sound-absorbing material should be promptly replaced. For panels installed in corners, edges, or irregularly shaped areas, pay special attention to sealing and fitting to prevent sound leakage.
Our company's mildew-resistant sound-absorbing panels offer not only excellent mildew resistance but also exceptional sound absorption and noise reduction. They are suitable for use in a variety of acoustically demanding environments, such as conference rooms, recording studios, and theaters. They are easy to install and maintain, ensuring a consistently quiet, comfortable, and healthy indoor space in the humid and hot climates of Southeast Asia.
